NY City born & raised, avid gear head since I was a teenager. Worked in the 70's at J & J Custom body shop in Bronx, NY started sweeping floors, learned about painting & custom work. My first car was a 70 Monte Carlo with blown small block, 400 trans & 4:11 gears. Completely rebuilt and customized the car nights and weekends; electric doors before there was such a thing, custom grill, side vents & hood. Car was painted with a gradient fade in Candy Blue Candy Purple over a silver base. Street & track raced any car or anyone for bragging rights or money...whatever was brought to the line.
