Vanishing Point: Argo's Car Delivery Service, Denver

Just found this thread, about 12 years back on one of my many visits to America I was traveling roughly along the route Kowalski was supposed to have taken and ended up in Austin. The town looked so much as it did in the movie, I had a meal in the restaurant and a walk around followed by a...

    Remember When!

It is good to reflect on what we call the "Good Old Days", my own children look on in dis belief when I explain some of the things I got up to and my Grand Children just grin. The kids of today are missing out on so much personal interaction with their friends, choosing facebook and twitter to...

AAR Shell Auctioned off in Iowa on October 28th

That is reasonably complete compared with a couple a few years back which basically only had the firewall with the ID Plate attached, makes you wonder about some of these "Barn Finds"?

318 to 360 engine swap drive line questions

The drivers side (American) has the different engine mount. Why change the 904 for the 727, the 727 is slightly stronger but many drag racers used the 904 because overall it was lighter and in a street driven car will give good service. As for the '89 Truck transmission it is possibly the 500RH...

    318 piston height/deck clearence 1971 Deputy Challenger

The KB's should have come with circlips and they don't need machining as if you have the bushed rods then the pin will float, if press fit then you don't need the circlips. I would check the piston valve clearance with that amount of lift, it is not too much but better to be safe than sorry...

    318 piston height/deck clearence 1971 Deputy Challenger

Nick the KB's do have a higher piston head but you may still have to machine the block or heads, I would do the block myself. Either way when heads or blocks are machined you need to check the inlet manifold alignment or there will be a miss match and leaks. The KB's have the option of using the...

Installing Relays for Lights and Replacing Dimmer Switch

I mounted my relays on the inner guard skirt behind the battery, they don't get very hot there, I have seen them mounted below the battery for that concealed look.

    Billy Graham

Amen, when I started this post originally I was just bringing to anybody who might be interested to see and here probably for the last time a man who has given so much for spreading the word of Jesus and changing peoples lives. He and his son are not perfect, I know that I certainly aren't and...

Installing Relays for Lights and Replacing Dimmer Switch

You should be able to pick up at any better spare parts supplier, as my name implies I live in Australia and as I had to change my headlights over due to the way ours "dip" on low beam I upgraded to Halogen.

Installing Relays for Lights and Replacing Dimmer Switch

Fitted relays to my Challenger, voltage at the headlights went from 5v to 13.5v and of course I can now see at night. I upgraded the Headlights to halogen at the same time, now there is no load on the switch or more importantly the firewall connector which can melt as resistance increases with...

    Billy Graham

Rev Billy Graham has made a video and it is supposed to be broadcast America wide on his 95th birthday, November 7th. Billy Graham has preached to more people and in more countries than any other Pastor ever has, he used to be a strong spiritual force to Presidents until recently. This may be...

If there was never a mopar

We did have a few model AMC cars here in Australia back then and they like the Valiants we had were advanced in their styling for the time. Just remember that if it wasn't for Chrysler we would still have metal engine mounts and the oi-lite bush wouldn't have been invented, well maybe, just to...
