Best plact to buy crate motor

Don’t just shop for crate engines. Find a really good machine shop in your area or within reasonable driving distance and have them give you an estimate based on your goals. “Crate Engine” is just a term people use. A crappy shop will build a crappy engine, no matter what term we use.

Block ID and Stage-V conversion heads

I remember reading about these a long time ago but never seen them in person. Please post some pictures so we can see it. Steve Magnate did a magazine article. Looks like he used a Fel Pro 1009 back then. I assume he trimmed it for head studs and pushrods. There is one picture in the article...

    408 Stroker Cam dilema...

Borowski does make lifters, they sell lifters. They appear to be BAM lifters, according to the same description. BAM are available through Hughes engines but he is trying to get you into a flat cam...

Mopar 360 - Order Online or Not?

Blue Print Engines has a really good reputation on the ForAbodiesonly site. They have a thread in the vendors section too. It is worth reading through some of the posts to see how Johnny Mac helps out guys asking these same questions. In my opinion, if you are not going to do the work yourself...
