hard to find indeed. Yes Terry W., the molding channels and inserts is exactly what i need. specifically a channel for my passenger door (56.5in) and the driver side fender (60in). I have these but they might have been glued to the body of my car since the channels/tracks are missing.

I recently discovered that my car is set up that way. does this setup perhaps cause the interior to get warmer when the car is running? any other drawbacks to setting it up in that way?

I know the defroster duct is bolted on with screws and the lower portion hovers over the AC box. since an actuator bar goes between the duct and AC box, is it just the rubber seal that semi connects the duct or is something missing? Also is one the vacuum hoses from the AC box supposed to go...

I've read many are against modifying the dash frames to accommodate newer type speakers which I am not. is that opening specific to a car option such as the AC or something else or people just want to keep the originality?

I need to reattach the louvers to the metal bar inside the vent and it appears the only way is to remove the rivet on the side. has anyone found a good way to it? or is there another way to do it? Thanks!
