    Vacuum advance

Hence my dilemma. Strong arguments for both options!

    My Challenger is too loud!

When I bought my car, it had a fairly new aluminized reproduction stock system, that is resonators under the rear seat area, and mufflers beside the gas tank. I always thought they were the other way around due to the shape, but this is correct. The resonators are the oval shaped ones, the...

    Vacuum advance

I know this has been asked 1 million times, but I have yet to find a satisfactory answer. I have a 71 Cuda with a very stock 383 and an Edelbrock 750 CFM carb. Should I go with the ported or manifold vacuum for my vacuum Advance? Also, any recommendation for initial timing with the vacuum...

    trunk paint scheme

I noticed a small stone ding on one of my front fenders. Since the paint was new, and clean, I applied Dyna mat to the underside of the top faces of the fenders.

Steve340, could you post a picture of that page? A while back, someone posted a link to a free download of the service & chassis manuals, but my bookmark no longer works. Anyone have this?

    Wipers not working correctly

Bill, I want to make sure I know what I'm looking at. I think you are suggesting that my motor is clocked correctly, but the diagram you have shows that my pointer should be in the most clockwise notch, but it is in almost the most counter-clockwise notch. The part of my image at the blue...

Do you know if you can just loosen the 5 screws and reposition without fully removing the cover as EW1BH27 suggested?

Thank you Bill, this is good info.

    Wipers not working correctly

WhiteGP, my motor does work, it just only runs at the low speed. It parks OK too. Does anyone know what changing the clocking actually does?

Does anyone know what this repositioning actually does?

    Wipers not working correctly

The linkage would appear to be fine and correct. It runs fine at the slow setting and parks OK. Still wondering if the clocking of the motor could cause my particular issues. Obviously, the clocking is important, or they wouldn't have the different settings.

Wow, good catch on the clocking! Could that have anything to do with the trouble I'm having? If so, is it simply a matter of removing the five screws and re-clocking it?
