From a fellow So Cal enthusiast: Congrat's on the great pick up and welcome to the group! It sounds like her bones are in great shape, that's half the battle already won. Enjoy the journey, there's nothing like it!
(I just noticed this is an older post resurrected, but all still applies)
I'm tagging in a little late, but I just installed the same signal switch and it's defective, too. Switching it from the center position to either left or right felt way too tight at the get-go, and it felt like something was hanging up, as well. After installation, the signals blinked fine but...
Some people will say "Oh, these are just material things." True, but when you lose something so near and dear to the heart, it has to be painful. I am so very sorry for you and your son's losses. Just heartbreaking...

The original 318 engine was an August 17...
Congrats! Chatted with you for a bit Saturday morning. Appreciated you being there with your car to engage with, unlike many others that are nowhere to be found after three passes.
Yep, same here. It can appear as two different shades when looking at the top of the hood and then the underside under certain lighting conditions. Sometimes photos come out appearing as Lemon Twist. It is a unique color, for sure!
