I have a 72 Challenger JH23H parts car.
I found this old and new pump in it.
The directions show it mounting near the distributor. Was this a factory part and how did it mount and what did it do.
Is it worth anything.

I know how that feels, I had the same problem recently. I welded mine back together and it’s holding up so far.

I just ground a groove along the crack and MIG it good.

That’s true but the serpentine system doesn’t look great on old hotrods.
I will only need Alt brackets and pulleys for the crank and water pump so should be easy to get those off an old LA motor.
