Sublime Lime 70 Challenger R/T SE

Engine bay painted (aside from the firewall - still some minor things (rust holes) to sort out there). Outside is satin black, with body colour on all the interior surfaces.

Sublime Lime 70 Challenger R/T SE

Got the underside painted today. The Raptor paint didn't come out as textured as I thought. Still happy with how it's come out. It should be pretty durable as well. Tomorrow, I'll get to the engine bay - body colour inside and I'll satin black the outside (front of rad cross member and the...

Sublime Lime 70 Challenger R/T SE

I've just about finished all the repairs to the floor pans, wheel wells, trunk floor etc. I've got one more week of holidays to finish tidying things up and paint the underside. The front floor pans didn't come out as well as I'd hoped, but they are a huge improvement on what was there before...

Sublime Lime 70 Challenger R/T SE

I've been over every inch of the top radiator support, the only stamping is on the passenger side, what I assume to be the support stamp number - "OD 35 1". All the spot welds appear to be original to my eye, so I'm still stumped as to the front partial VIN. Is it possible it was missed on the...

    70 Challenger SE SWEDEN

Is that a reproduction SE emblem? I haven't see reproduction ones with the bottom clip on them. If it's a new one where did you get it from?

It's been a while since I've posted anything, for all those sitting on the edge of your seats waiting for the next instalment I sincerely apologise  Work has continued, just at a snails place. I've been slowly sandblasting the underside and the engine bay, and discovered some undesirables...

And I'm just now seeing the bolt in the bottom of the inner cowl. I wonder where that came from ...🤔

Sublime Lime 70 Challenger R/T SE

I've now got the new inner and outer hinge cowl back in place. While I was working on the cowl, I was getting more and more unhappy with how the replacement front floor pans where put in. Turns out they were cut oversize and tacked down over the top of the hole from the original pans. Once I cut...

70 disc hub to 73 spindle grease seal

You can get bearings to suit -just haven't found a seal that works.

70 disc hub to 73 spindle grease seal

Thanks Katfish, I can see either the 70 seal or the 73 seal. Not one that matches the 70 hub dia to the 73 spindle dia ...

70 disc hub to 73 spindle grease seal

Hi, I'm doing a disc conversion for my 70 Challenger. Wanting to keep the 14" rallye wheels so have got my hands on a pair of the 10" discs. The place that I got them only had 73 spindles. Easy enough to get the bearings to suit, but can anyone tell me what the grease seal is that works with...

Sublime Lime 70 Challenger R/T SE

Been working on the rust in the inner/outer cowl hinge on the passenger side. Ended up totally removing both sides of the cowl, they were rotted through at the base and top section. Once removed, the top of the rail was also rotten, so cut it out. Thankfully was I removed all the built up crud...

Sublime Lime 70 Challenger R/T SE

A little more done this weekend. Diff body, carrier housing, brake drums, backing plates, each of the spring leaves and the hangers. Essentially all the removable rear end components blasted and painted. Still have to put the assembly line paint markings on them.
