People on the assembly line stamped the cars. It was not automated. I have seen several body stampings through out the years that are one or two numbers off that left the assembly plant that way. People make mistakes. It could just be one of those cars

I'd like to find a 1970 cuda convertible. Must be a real BS27 Vin car. I am open to various conditions from restored to a project that does not have a lot of rust issues. Original 340 or 383 car, automatic or four speed. Must have the original fender tag and body numbers also. Thanks
