signal switch and key buzzer sw

Yeah, I'm debating what to file down. The arm is still original, I know I can get access to file the switch tower. I am hoping someone else has seen this, because they claim to have sold hundreds. They also told me there are other brands available. This one comes in a white/blue/yellow box...

signal switch and key buzzer sw

Still working on my 73 column, seems like a lot of small issues that I do not see being discuss. I purchased a signal switch from Roseville, two things that are different from original. The contact for the horn sw, which I knew about, and the stem for the signal arm. The stem has a slot cut...

    Key release

I don't have any documentation to confirm the 73 column is different. I have my column partially assembled now. I had a spare column from a 72 with column shift, I used the spring washer from that column. The release cone has to be free enough to rotate. I would think without the spring washer...

    Key release

Now does anyone have an exploded view of a 73' column. I still need information on the wavy washer. So far, I have only found 70' column views, and they are different.

    Key release

The first picture top arrow is the tube where t hole is for the spring. The bottom arrow is where I'm asking if I need the spring washer (or wavy washer shown in the video from Cuda Cody). The video shows a 70' column restoration. So, 70' had a lock tube not this release lever, and I'm...

    Key release

OK I got the spring figured out. The other end attached to a small hole in the tube. Now is there supposed to be a spring washes on the end of the tube before installing the release lever. My column did not have a washer when I disassembled

    Key release

I have all the parts and I'm pretty sure the springs round end goes on the pin I have it on. Not sure where the other end goes.

    Key release

I am looking for a little help on assembly of the column key release lever on my 73 Challenger. Does anyone have information on the spring location and connection for the column. I have looked at the video posted on assembly of the column, but the column shown does not have the release lever...

    Door VIN tags

They have a larger tag in 73, so you had access to all latch screws. If they would have placed my label down on the door an inch I would just work around it. You must have been very careful not to damage with the heat.

    Door VIN tags

    Thanks, I'll look them up.

    Door VIN tags

OK, I was going to try the work around, however the label covers the top screw in the door latch. You would have to cut a hole through the label by Front GAWR damaging the label anyway. I am removing all hardware and the regulator.

    Door VIN tags

Thanks, I thought there was someone out there that did replacements. Now the big question, what is ECS.

    Door VIN tags

I am stripping the drivers door on my 73 Challenger and just wondering if anyone has suggestions for working around the VIN tag on the door. Car this be removed, without damaging, or is it better to leave it on and work around it, just mask before paint.

Need a Wiring diagram 72 Barracuda

Glad to see you found the issues. Also, great diagrams RTA. I wire old vehicles every week and have seen more than my share of poor-quality work. Usually harder to find and fix what someone else screwed up. Not sure what the guy was thinking just cutting the wires. I was able to just make a...

Need a Wiring diagram 72 Barracuda

Your "Painful" kit should have had directions for connecting their wiring to your dash. Basically, all you need is gauge power, and the sender wire for temp, oil and fuel. Don't forget to make sure you have a good ground to the dash or nothing will work correctly. Is this a ralley dash?
