    Door VIN tags

They have a larger tag in 73, so you had access to all latch screws. If they would have placed my label down on the door an inch I would just work around it. You must have been very careful not to damage with the heat.

    Door VIN tags

OK, I was going to try the work around, however the label covers the top screw in the door latch. You would have to cut a hole through the label by Front GAWR damaging the label anyway. I am removing all hardware and the regulator.

    Door VIN tags

Thanks, I thought there was someone out there that did replacements. Now the big question, what is ECS.

    Door VIN tags

I am stripping the drivers door on my 73 Challenger and just wondering if anyone has suggestions for working around the VIN tag on the door. Car this be removed, without damaging, or is it better to leave it on and work around it, just mask before paint.

Need a Wiring diagram 72 Barracuda

Glad to see you found the issues. Also, great diagrams RTA. I wire old vehicles every week and have seen more than my share of poor-quality work. Usually harder to find and fix what someone else screwed up. Not sure what the guy was thinking just cutting the wires. I was able to just make a...

Need a Wiring diagram 72 Barracuda

Your "Painful" kit should have had directions for connecting their wiring to your dash. Basically, all you need is gauge power, and the sender wire for temp, oil and fuel. Don't forget to make sure you have a good ground to the dash or nothing will work correctly. Is this a ralley dash?

    Hello from WI

Yeah, it's not what I expected at all. At this point I have decided to return them and make my own. If I have to re-engineer and fabricate, I might as well do the whole thing myself. I know materials will cost me less than $300. Anyone made their own? Pictures?

    Hello from WI

I put these connectors in place, as tight as I could get them. Here are some pictures. Where I have the popsicle sticks there is a 0.180" gap, those are some of the worst areas. The front end is horrible .75" along the area near the torsion bar. The rear inside has a nice radius that supposed...

    Hello from WI

I'll try and get some pics posted next week. I usually have several projects going at one time. I have a Demon on the back burner that gets a small amount of attention. And am waiting on new rear brakes for conversion to front disc for the 69' Cuda. I also am helping a friend who is working on...

    Hello from WI

I have contacted USCT and they just responded today. The connectors are made correctly, according to them. I will be trying to fit them up again Thursday, but holiday weekend coming up so I may not have enough time to figure this out before the weekend. They did confirm some modifying may be...

    Hello from WI

Nice, that's the type of fit I would expect for the price.

    Hello from WI

I have used other connectors, I have a 69' Cuda, but that would for the a body forum. I was intrigued by the laser cut to fit offering, which would be really great if they only were. I am going to do a little more work on trying to get these to fit. In the picture I attached the inside...

    Hello from WI

I am well into the restoration already. I have all removable panels off the car and most in primer. Working on modifying the floor tunnel to accommodate a gear vendor OD. The next step is the rotisserie which is why I need to get the frame rails taken care of. Unfortunately I have not taken...

    Hello from WI

Thanks, I thought about grinding to fit (and that may be what I have to do), but figured someone out there must have used the USCT product. I believe they would fit almost perfect if the sections I highlighted were swapped. I have made contact with the company, but haven't received a response...
