cam bearings re correct? this is weird, well of to see the grandkids for xmas back at it after the holidays

Well the crank bearings were in right, I guess I'll pull the cam and see what that gets me....confusing

Well motor is out of the car and I have the heads off, the valve train was in correct, tomorrow I'm taking off the oil pan.

New pump was hv melling, I just primed it without rotating it

I purchased the motor and was told it was a fresh rebuild, it does have crane adjustable rockers and a roller cam, alot of compression so being I wanna street drive it I'll need to tone down that. I have a goal of taking a new Dart making it a 2 door and building a twin turbo 340 with a tube...

Thanks guys, yes I changed the complete pump, I am hoping to pull it this weekend and do more investigating... I'll post my find.

I have a 440 that has a ton of oil pressure! I mean like blows up oil filters! Has well over 100 lbs priming the pump with a drill motor, I bought a new melling at Ramchargers and no change, I'm pulling the motor within the week just looking at what could be going on...thanks
