Sorry it took so long to get back to you, Outdoor kitchen is almost done and I had some time to pull a headlight bucket. The pics aren't very good, but they show you what I was referring to. The edges are where I dremeled off the lips.
1. You do not need to remove the bumper to put the grille in, it will slip in with the bumper in place. I had no problem accessing the lower bolts with the bumper in place and IMHO removing the bumper to gain more access is a waste of time and energy.
2. Put the park lamps in after the grille...
Do you think you could make a snap in insert for the 70 only consoles to cover the square hole at the back that was meant for seat belt buckle storage? That's an ugly hole when you don't have seatbelt buckles stuffed in it!🤣
Back in the day running a rear sway bar without a front sway bar was considered a no no for just the reason you described. You're better off with no sway bars than having just a rear sway bar!
It happens! I had a Harley gas tank years ago that had been coated inside and the liner started coming loose and clogging my fuel petcock. That kind of soured me on fuel tank coatings.
I was looking for an auto console. It's harder to put plastic back than it is to take it out. 😄 I'm not too worried about the top plate, I am running a B&M shifter and the console would be modified in that area to accommodate the aftermarket shifter.
