    Booster problem? Pedal doesn't return.

I had that same booster setup when i converted to power brakes. Nothing but problems with it. Pedal wouldn't return, pressure was terrible. It went in the dumpster and I bought a Bendix style booster. Brakes have been great ever since. As for the rod length, that's trial and error, but I...

    Fuel Line Routing

Nice. I'm running braided line, but I'll be doing this for sure. Just gotta grab some different fittings now...

    Fuel Line Routing

You know as simple as this is....I'm putting in EFI right now and I NEVER thought about using my 3/8 factory style line as the return. That's a great idea and gives me a nice run to mount my braided to and since there's no pressure on it I don't need to worry about leaks, AN is overkill. I...

Auto to 5-Speed Conversion (Silver Sport Transmission Tremec TKX) Project Plus

Hopefully. We'll find out come late fall when I dig into it! For this year I'm going to stick with the built 904 I put in it... (against my will haha)

Auto to 5-Speed Conversion (Silver Sport Transmission Tremec TKX) Project Plus

I have the gun for this... I thought about doing this as well but was worried about flex. I do have the USCT frame connector kit install though so I may end up just doing the panel bond as well. I have a welder, but I am not a welder haha. This slightly worries me....I have TTI long tubes.

Auto to 5-Speed Conversion (Silver Sport Transmission Tremec TKX) Project Plus

Nice! I have one of these sitting in my garage. I'm going to install it in the fall though, just didn't have time this winter/spring and I don't want the car down all summer.

    Pro Flo 4 ECU mounting

I may look into this. I passed my wideband harness through the large hole by the brake booster but no chance these edelbrock connectors fit through that. In all honesty though, I’m probably leaning towards mounting it on the pass side firewall and just cleaning up the wiring as best I can. It’s...

    Pro Flo 4 ECU mounting

The only issue I had with AAW was mating it to the GM ignition switch on my flaming river column but one quick call to their tech support solved that. I read so many posts about Holley issues with heat soak and such while cruising, and honestly I wanted something different than what everyone...

    Pro Flo 4 ECU mounting

Appreciate the detailed response. All things I’ve considered…. I really like the kit but the wiring harness leaves a lot to be desired. I rewired the car with the American auto wire harness and it was a dream to work with. This thing is….not that. I may look at depinning the harness to pass it...

    Pro Flo 4 ECU mounting

I’m arguing with myself as to where I want to mount this thing. The harness is kind of a pain in the ass to work with being wrapped in a plastic like sleeve instead of something braided loom like I would’ve done. The connectors are massive so if I mount in the cabin I’d 100% have to drill a...

    Rear frame rail patches

Yup that’s what I’m doing. Based on the way the ones on thr car look, I can’t do any worse lol.

    Rear frame rail patches

Good to know. That was my plan. Lots of measurement and test fit before fully welding it in. Ordered the pieces yesterday. I’m going to try to weld it myself but I’m brand new so might have my buddy handle anything that isn’t a spot/plug weld.

    Rear frame rail patches

Yeah I’m not too worried about the install, more so fitment and quality of the pieces for sale. I appreciate the tip though. I have lizard skin in the trunk that I’ll have to grind out, which sucks, but it is what it is.

    Rear frame rail patches

My car was resto’d last year…everything but the frame rails. Fronts were ok and we patched them. Rears were “ok” but not great, but after the trunk pan was put in the guy didn’t do a great job with the spot welding to where I can squeeze the rail in a spot or two and it flexes because it isn’t...
