    Computer placement with vintage air

That looks clean. I'm guessing you blocked off the original holes in the firewall where the original A/C hoses went through?

    Relay box

    Oh sweet! I'll do that.

    Computer placement with vintage air

My apologies. I'm using the Hotwire wiring harness and a new American auto wiring kit for the lights and such.

    Relay box

Are you talking about a new model car one? I have the 2020 donor car in my shop. Is that what most are using?

    Computer placement with vintage air

Where are you mounting the computer with a vintage air system?

Can you guys recommend a relay box for a hemi swap with a hotwire harness?

Gear ratio with 8 speed auto

Thank you Woods. I actually ordered a 3.55 third member a couple weeks ago. I think that will be best for me as well.

Thank you. Very informative. I ordered my vintage air today with a new non-variable factory compressor.

    1970 Baracuda Restomod Begins

I see that at the back of the engine you looped the two coolant lines under the intake together. Is that going to be permanent? I'm just curious if they need to be tied back into the coolant system or if tying them together is the correct method.

8th gear is like 0.6667 ratio.

Gear ratio with 8 speed auto

The current diff is 3.23 I think and is open. I want a complete third member with posi.

Gear ratio with 8 speed auto

I'm pretty sure mine is a 3.09. Manuals have the 3.90.

Gear ratio with 8 speed auto

I am installing a 8HP70 in my 73 with the 392. Question is what rear ratio should I run in the rear. I want it to be plenty spirited for stop light challenges but not pegging the tack on a 60 M.P.H. cruise.

Do you like it on top or bottom?

Just FYI... I dropped the 2020 out the bottom and it was super easy. Not need to do the 73 but need to be able to roll it around for a while so may still bring that motor out the top.
