    water leak on my 360

Could be a blown head gasket at the back of the head. Draining the radiator doesn't drain all the water out of the block. Can you button up the block, refill the cooling system and borrow/rent a "pressure tester" to look for the possible leak? Were you losing water before taking things apart...

    WTB Cuda vinyl roof trim

I can't post my photos in a PM, but can post them here. There seems to be a blem "spot" where the arrow points at the edge of the "peak". But it hard to see even in better light & angles in person. (Are the pics coming through or should I post "thumbs" instead of full size?)

1972 340 la engine Main caps.....

OEM main caps are not sold separately, unless you buy aftermarket. Direct Connection use to sell "perletic (?)" caps. But regardless of what you get, aftermarket or from another 340 block, you'll have to get a competent machine shop to mill the caps and line bore/hone the mains when assembled...

    35 Years....

Brings back memories because my first car was a '72 Rallye 340 decked out just like that. Rallye Red and I even painted the hood the same. But I didn't have the T/A chin spoilers or Go-Wing. But I gotta ask.....did someone do the bumper conversion? Your bumpers are '72. They had the big bumper...

Did you find a cage? What is the part number? I have an original used one that I believe is E-body, but don't recall the application. No cracks or breaks. 2837695 Myron [email protected]

    Preferred U-joint supplier?

Hands down, Spicer solid u-joints. I have the 7260 on my Dart Sport with a billet pinion yoke. They have performed flawlessly for many years of wheels-up launches with 60' as low as 1.47 @ 3,550+ lbs. But I don't have the part # handy. The greasable versions would be good for street applications...

    SE tail panel clips

An April build date would be considered "late". They actually started building 1970 model year cars in late 1969 and it ended somewhere around the middle of 1970. They still do that today.

    WTB 70 challenger drag link

Some research appears to show it to be for an E-body. But I'd appreciate someone more knowledgeable about it to confirm. I've had E and A bodies, but don't have my current Dart Sport available to compare it to. Casting numbers include 2835877 and DF72.
