If your car came with an anti run on/diesel solenoid I would tap into that source. I recently installed a Vintage air system and with a 440 set to idle at 900 rpm haven't needed a solenoid.

This is my 71 road runner with a 440 4bbl not a sixpack but same style base plate and it clears the compressor. All brackets were sourced through Bouchillon

The Vintage air does not use an idler pulley.

I used paint from Herbs parts on my 71 road runner with brown interior and the match was dead on. Herbs part #1188 and listed as #664 brown 1971

I tried the rope caulk from home depot and it wouldn't hold the barrier. It's not very sticky and is similar to plumbers putty.

pschlosser, there is a mopar car show October 7th at Hagan park put on by Capital City Mopars.

Here is a pic of the pulley off the car. The break is at a point of the sharpest bend. The break looks like the edge of a small saw blade.
