Finding the true Centerline of the car

Thanks Guys! Thanks to you, it now is correct! One of my other concerns was the passenger side being higher than the driver's side. That was caused by the Super Stock springs and S/S front perches. (Duh, on my part.) When aligning body panels, returning the vehicle to stock, is key. Once I...

Finding the true Centerline of the car

Okay guys, I am trying to align the rear axle and despite countless measuring and double checking each several times prior to welding the new front spring perch mounting brackets on the new rear frame rails, the axle is not aligned. In my case, the passenger side is about 7/8" farther forward...

going to have to put my dog down

Agree with Super-G. Man, I am so sorry. I had to do the same with my Doberman two years ago after someone ran him over in our yard (kid was drunk). Duke was family. I miss him everyday. Be strong and know that it is the right thing to do. Will be praying for you and your family.

4-link (Bushing type) needed for 73 Cuda

Wanted to check to see if anyone has a 4-link suspension system that they wanted to sell prior to laying out the bucks to a supplier. Maybe someone who thought they wanted to go this route, then decided against it. Must fit E-Body and be complete. If you have what I need, send me a private...

    1970 Cuda Drag Car Build

Thanx Dexter! I was in Miami for two weeks during the holidays myself. If you had a ready made 4-link, I would be making you an offer. It is hard to find any info, especially when you are trying to fit tires this big. Yours looks great. Whenever you get a chance, the measurements would surely...

    where to sart welding

DetMatt is "spot" on. Weld thru primer is very important unless you want to go through this again in the future. Work out from the floor pan and make sure that everything is centered. If you can mark it, remove it, mock it back up and everything looks good, drop your mask and hit the trigger. I...

    Thanks to all...

Great news Jim. (I hate the C-word.) I lost my older brother to it and I celebrate every victory over it. Hang in there and give your sister our very best. Looks like she has the whole Mopar Army in her corner!

    E-Bdy steering columP/S length ????

E-Bdy steering columP/S length If you mean the length of the steering column, I have mine pulled for restoration and would be happy to measure it for you. Do you want the measurement from end (attachment to steering box) to steering wheel or to another location?

    1970 Cuda Drag Car Build

I am installing wheel tubs, 29 x 18.5 x 15 M/T's and will be shortening the axle tubes to get the shoes to fit under the wells. If you could provide the dimensions for your 4 link location to help me weld the brackets as it relates to the frame rails in the right place it would be a HUGE help to me.
