DetMatt is "spot" on. Weld thru primer is very important unless you want to go through this again in the future. Work out from the floor pan and make sure that everything is centered. If you can mark it, remove it, mock it back up and everything looks good, drop your mask and hit the trigger. I...

From the steering wheel to the end of the column is 48". From the steering wheel to the firewall mounting bracket is 35 1/2". Hope that helps!

E-Bdy steering columP/S length If you mean the length of the steering column, I have mine pulled for restoration and would be happy to measure it for you. Do you want the measurement from end (attachment to steering box) to steering wheel or to another location?

I am installing wheel tubs, 29 x 18.5 x 15 M/T's and will be shortening the axle tubes to get the shoes to fit under the wells. If you could provide the dimensions for your 4 link location to help me weld the brackets as it relates to the frame rails in the right place it would be a HUGE help to me.
