    73 E body proportion valve

Mine was not bad. Rust outside but not in. I rebuilt it with a kit I forms on line - vendor escapes me at the moment - but I could not get the one plug to seal so I replaced it with a unit off Amazon. Similar to the one classic industries sells but in brass. Same port positions but needed to...

    Rear Valance install

I had new quarter skins but the valence was a touched up original (from another car) - my tweaking was mostly on the quarter and yes it needed a good bit

    motor oil

Once my 360 is broken in, I was planning to use Castrol Edge 5W50 which I read on a Vette forum is considered a high zinc oil. I have been using it for years in my '85 2.2 Turbo (also considered flat tappet with its cam followers non roller) and it has done great no cam wear, no wear on the...

PCV Grommet & Valve for Mopar Performance Valve Covers (1 inch hole)

PCV Grommet & Valve for Mopar Performance Valve Covers (1 inch hole)

Thanks for the reply. Good news is I have a friend with a machine shop so I think I'll try that route if I cannot modify myself

PCV Grommet & Valve for Mopar Performance Valve Covers (1 inch hole)

Sorry to bring back an old thread - but this is exactly the issue I am having. SDChallenger did you find a solution? That Dorman number is only 1/2 " deep overall from their specs. I am contemplating buying that now infamous grommet set and seeing if I can modify the old valve covers to fit.

Replacement for Kelsey Hayes KH 89410 combination valve

I tried the rebuild kit from MCR - worked ok but in the end I just could not get the proportioning valve plug near the bottom to seal. Tried several things - less / more tight - sourced (100) new o-rings - still slow leak when installed. I finally decided to swap it out for a unit I found on...
