    71 Cuda carpet question

    On previous cars I have always folded the carpet over the pinch weld and then installed the sill plate. However, I just installed mass backed carpet in my Challenger and it was too thick to install the sill plate with it folder over. So I cut it even with the top of the pinch weld and it worked...

    Installing an Exhaust System

    If using jack stands, get the HD 3 ton ones. They are much more stable. I just did a 4 speed swap and TTI exhaust on HF 3 ton stands. I also made some wheel cribs for installing my frame connectors. They work great also. Be safe!

    Just the Promax plates and the air cleaner cost me over $600. I'm selling the swinger and don't think these will really add to the value of it. Thought maybe someone doing a TA or AAR resto might be interested. I can get the p/n's if needed. Thanks
