    a/c cable pic in engine compartment

    for hole location check the att. pic. the cable is not installed in this pic. that cable with the red wire going thru the grommet is the speedo cable. the A/C cable goes thru the hole that is blocked with the black bumper to the left and a bit above the speedo. Hope this helps.

    Roller Rockers

    I ran the Crane Golds on my 340 for over 10 years with no problems but some have had issues with the adjusting screws failing. When I built my 416 I went with the Indy roller rockers and they have been holding up well.

    I used '70/71 brackets on the front. it allowed me to remove the 20lb brace in the front bumper. I reused the bumper, just put an exttra blot in the unused hole.

    Walt, btw=between, I just didn't feel like typing the whole word. I pretty much agree with what burdar said but if you don't want to move the bumper in I would paint the fillers flat black As for the grille, leave the stainless piece around the grille silver and the leading edge of the grill...

    When painting the grill black I would also black out the filler pieces btw the grill and bumper and btw the bumper and fender too.
