I like the all black wheel or the one with metal spokes which I assume is the rimblo or spoke? I dont like the woodgrain, not for me,like I said mine isnt original anyways, which one is more desirable & which is cheaper for a driver
My interior is black, its just a 318 barracuda that someone put a 383 in & the front seats, dash & maybe one door panel is from a 72-74 I think,Im gonna try to make sure its all back to 70 stuff & I know the steering wheel is 2 spoke so I wanted to start there, not a high dollar restoration so Id...
I know there was alot of different steering wheels in the cuds but anyways,I have a 70 that someone has put a 2 spoke newer wheel in & I want to go back to the right looking wheel,my car is a 70 barracuda,so I guess Im asking what wheel, wheels would look correct to a cuda or barracuda in 1970...
Im having the same problem,I think The rod is set pretty close but is there a rubber seal or does the boot go on there? I bought new master cylinder & it came with both a boot & lil thick seal, not sure which goes where, the directions say for manual brakes but my car & new master cylinder are for...
Thanks Challenger, they are ribbed,I was just looking for obvious measurements before going to order a bunch of parts...I ended up looking up the inner bearing that came on the car & it was only on 73-74 not a 70 so I guess that was my answer,Great to know about the ribbed backing plates though...
Yes I know its 45 years old,no one around here carries the rotors in stock & the calipers show the same for all 70-74 barracudas..I guess Ill order some for 73-74 & see what happens, just didnt know if there was an easier identification of the spindles
Ok..I have a 1970 barracuda,it has disc on front,10in drums on rear..I dont have a clue what it came with factory,I have rebuilt rear drums, all is fine, then I order new front disc for 1970,same bearings that came out of rotors then the seal area on rotors are smaller,I cant get a seal that...
Would like to hear more about the GM600..did you have to cut the tunnel any? How expensive is the tranny? Thinking about converting a column auto 70 cuda but want more than a 4 speed
The hood is not bad priced,Id buy an AMD & be done with that,im talking about all the scoop setup,2500 or so for just that? Is there a kit for that? Has to be a cheaper way to make a shaker setup, anyone that has made their own post away info
Whats an 833OD?..4500 is alot of money for a tranny just to have an extra gear, anyone use a t-56 or similar? I dont want to cut the floor but I think it would be cheaper in the long run to do
Why are they so expensive for an aftermarket setup? I mean,2650 plus for just the shaker setup & thats aftermarket?? Someone should be able to reproduce these cheaper
