    Mopar restoration parts

This might put it in perspective. I paid over 10k for this. And I'm told over and over I got a great deal. I agree, that's why I bought it. I've always been a mopar guy, just something about them, that just got under my skin and stayed there for 40 years. Lol

Butterscotch Challenger for sale at Carlisle

I thought I took a pic or 2 of the car with the sign and his number on it, but I guess I did not. I know if I did, it would be sitting in my garage currently. He said the ac blew ice cold, btw.

Butterscotch Challenger for sale at Carlisle

I spoke with the guy, he's from the east coast. It did not sell. I spoke with him on Sunday morning and he still had it. I think prices are softening a bit. That should have sold on Friday, imho. If I didn't have 17 cars already, it would be in my garage today.

Has anyone rebuilt this style of heater control valve?

I would do a google search of that. Also look on FBBO, I saw somewhere that a guy rebuilt them. Or several places did.

    Just picked this up

I found a cruise stalk on marketplace on a black A body column, so I went up and picked that up today. I am planning on putting 2 together to make a long one like an ebody had.

    Just picked this up

Just have to find the parts to put it on unfortunately for me too. But you're right, it will be fune to drive. All the options are on the fender tag, which is nice. Broadcast sheet was destroyed by mice, so unless I find another one in another seat, the fender tag is all I have to go on.

    Just picked this up

It's a 70 RT U code 440 auto, numbers matching driveline, fender tag and all vin stampings match, FE5 red with V1W vinyl top, white tail stripe and white interior. It came with cruise, ac and 6 way seat. It's all on the fender tag. Also had the A01 lighting group. Unfortunately, the cruise was...

Why didn't the factory use "stroker" specs ?

Having lived in the 70s, what's been left out of this discussion is one of the key factors why cubic inches were restricted 440 to 460 in these cars and that was insurance. The bigger the engine size, the larger the insurance premium. It got to where a 21 year old guy with a 440 RT was paying...
