It actually came with a 19” but them are next to impossible to find so I was going to put a 22” in it. My core support measures out for a 22” radiator opening.
Thanks men. Just wanted to clarify I haven’t had any luck finding a 22” model. I went to buy a new one today and lo and behold no one offered a 74 radiator. So I pulled out that parts catalog and got my number and that’s when I discovered the 19’’ model. I did find an early 70’s model like I...
So I messed up on my recent wtb ad looking for a 22'' radiator, my car is/was supposed to be equipped with a 19'' radiator, which is part number 3692926 and i happened to find one with a part number of 2998947, will this one work. Thanks for the help.
Can someone steer me straight on the type of horns I need for my 74 cuda. I see that there is/was different manufacturers of these horns. For the cars. Maybe it only affected earlier models and mine got a certain type. Just trying to clarify which ones I need to look for.
@Xcudame Thanks for clearing that up. Maybe he was skipping a gear in it like you mentioned. What an idiot I was for opening my mouth, after rewatching the video it is indeed a 4 speed. I could have swore I saw a video or read somewhere that the super speedway cars were 3 speeds.
Doesn’t have to be numbers correct. Just the actual correct fitting one. The current aluminum radiator causes the hoses to have a kink in them. I’ll measure the mounting hole spacing but I remember the core support opening being for a 22” radiator.
