Yes. Vin number on dash matches build sheet.

All the body numbers match the dash vin number. The engine and trans numbers match each other, but the last two numbers are 10 digits off from the dash vin. I do not own the car. It was something I was considering buying.

But the last two digits don't match the vin. They are ten digits off example engine and trans 123551, dash vin 123561?

Any ones thoughts. Can a vin number stamped on the engine and trans be the same, and be 10 digits off from the dash vin? Could these still be the original engine and trans to the car?

Looking for info. I removed the front and rear seat covers, black, about 20 years ago. They are original and the drivers seat has some patchwork on the seat cushion that is not correct. Otherwise the covers are in pretty good condition. Are they worth anything? Thanks in advance.
