I had the same issue and I started with my ignition module and ballast resistor. Not it!! Came down to my coil was breaking down. That killed it instantly. Put a new on and haven’t had any issues.

Thanks I found out the hard way. The ones I bought are ME530 for late 70 through 74 wrong for mine.

Yes I see them. I wonder if they have a steel liner as well?

There are tabs in the trim that the original rubber clipped into to keep it in place.

It's the vertical seal that goes between the door and qtr, glass.

Can anyone suggest a good vendor for qtr.glass rubber. I have the OER brand but it's different than original. It has a steel liner in it and can't be installed in the stainless trim correctly. Maybe I'm going about it wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
