I agree it's a 5/16" -18 bolt. Run a 5/16"-18 tap, using a tapping fluid, in there to clean it up. If it's galled, you don't need a broken tap in there.

Nope. My 340 car came with 14" rallye wheels and not very many options. No power steering. 11" drum brakes all the way around. The AM-cassette cost more than anything else on options except the 340 engine.
