I believe I found my answer. The metal pieces are called spacers. They fit inside the rubber grommets to the outside of the motor, the 3 nuts tighten on top of them, hence called spacers. Please correct me if incorrect. 2

So I got my wiper motor back. The installation kit includes 3 metel grommets. Do i install these inside the rubber bushings then mount the motor against the firewall? I haven't seen them in any motors before. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Appears they are different from steel hood alignment wedges or i got a poorly reproduced part. The set i have, the mounting holes for the small Phillips head screws do not "line up". not close at all.

Asking if the AAR fiberglass hoods used the spring loaded alignment wedges located on the front fenders. Thanks again

Did any TA's or AAR's come with steel wheels, hub caps. I came across a obscure post on a TA that said the TA with steel wheels and hub caps came with the trim rings. 15 in. I just like the looks.

I'm with you on "all that". 6 years on my AAR, finished, I mean on the road in Oct of last year. Now I have a whole new list of to do stuff. Minor things but a list of stuff. Wipers, new flasher for updated lights,hood seal for fiberglass hood, alignment, oil leak,redo exhaust,(back to original...

Sounds Perfect! Kinda thinking I should have stayed with the manifolds myself. I used the 440 carbs on my 6 barrel intake. My 340 is close to 440. Runs excellent.
