I am in need of the screw that holds the turn signal are. It goes thru the directional signal assembly and screws into the end of the directional arm??
I can see that now. But my housing is all together, directional signal switch, A01 ignition key lamp and I did not want to take it apart again. I just bought the tool to release the bullet plugs and I think I will just remove that nylon end and do it that way. Thanks guys....
Crush can is off. But I also have the turn signal switch installed along with the V01 ignition switch lamp and all that needs to come off before I can remove that section shown in my ohotos. That really does not make sense to me? I think for me, I would rather remove the 4 wires by...
Hi. I am trying to install my cruise control/directional arm in the steering column. The white nylon plug will not go through the small square hole in the column housing?? Do I have to pull those wires out of the nylon plug and insert them first and then install the plug after?? Seems odd...
OK folks. Got it. I read a post on here about the connectors to the ballast resistor and elsewhere. So I went out and just wiggled the wires on the ballast connector and the car started right up. The wires looked brand new, but I guess when these cars sit they have a way of corroding inside...
Changed ballast resistor and still having same problem. As long as I hold key in the start position the car will run. As soon as I release the key the engine stops? I think my ECU may be faulty.
Hi,
Car started fine yesterday. Today I turned the key, car started right up and as soon as I released the key she died. Did this several times with the same ending. If I hold the key all the way in the start position, it appeas to want to stay running until I release the key. Seems this...
Yes. Both brand new side marker lights were causing a direct short because the person in China who assembled theminstalled the two wires backwards. They said that stuff happens? Sending me a new set. Who would have thought to look there when I just took them out of the box?? Buyer Beware...
Dont know, but I am pissed. Those were not cheap but they were cheaply made. My old ones had a separate spade plug welded to the outside of the bulb holder which the ground wire was plugged onto. These new OER ones seemed to hide all that under a plastic sheath. I will be calling them...
I spent 5 hours today isolating the front lighting harness which was just bought from year one. I ended up just disconnecting (unplugging) the two front side marker lights and the two front valance parking lights. I then sent power down number 11 and did not blow a fuse. I then attached just...
OK Did some more probing. First I should say that I recently changed the front end lighting harness and also installed 4 new OEM side marker light housings with the attached pigtails. I was thinking a headlamp switch or the dash dimmer switch which are both original to the car and maybe why my...
