I have the harness but i'm confused. I have the unit that the bulb fits into in the trunk lid and the harness, but what shuts of the light when you close the trunk?

I have a 70 v code challenger that i did a full rotiserie on and its ready to sell except a couple of gauges don't work. I suck at electrical any help at all to how to go about fixing. Live in Darby Mt and no auto shop knows what to do. They are rally gauges.
