I removed this K frame and torsion bars from my 1970 Barracuda. I no longer need it and will eventually sell it but first I would like to know does it only fit E Body cars or will it work in other vehicles. It was a 383 car with power steering
Thanks, I've read those links and they are helpful however I'm trying to find someone who has installed one of these systems and used a gen 3 hemi. I'm using the measure twice cut once method so I dont spend the 5 grand unnecessarily
Has anyone replaced their E body front suspension with a QA1 coil over kit? I am ready to install a 6.2 Hellcat in my 1970 Barracuda and am considering making the swap. I have read positive reviews about the increased ride quality and the amount of room the kit provides for headers but have...
I pulled this system out of my running driving 70 Barracuda, it shifted and drove just fine. I'm dropping in a 6.2 so I need a transmission that handles 700 ft. lbs of torque. Keissler-Tremec 5 speed. TR3550 TCET5201, tag is in photos. All you see in the pics is included. Transmission...
I will be removing the a/c heater box, condenser and control panel from my 1970 Gran Coupe. From what i've read this unit is the same as whats in a 70-74 Challenger. Is that correct, this fits any 70-74 E Body?
I agree with you. I have started sanding where I can with a DA and will finish it up by hand but I dont think the brake proportioning valve will clean up and the brake lines with wire loom wrapped them unless they are removed and cleaned on the bench. Even then I might be better off replacing...
That looks great. I spent stupid money on a different engine so if I can get it to look this good for a couple hundred that will make my day. How did you apply the clear coat?
My 70 Barracuda came with the dreaded painted black engine compartment, it was originally FC7. I'm no painter so I'll need to find someone who knows what their doing to paint it the proper color but before that I need advice on how to prep it. The rest of the car has very good paint and the...
T56 Magnum 6 speed purchased from and modified by Silver Sport to fit E Body or post 70 B Body. Almost 8k spent on the transmission and all the necessary parts needed to install it including clutch, flywheel, bellhousing, transmission crossmember, hydraulic clutch conversion kit, etc. Also new...
It was a 318 car, original FC7 with a white top and interior. It still has the consolette and wood grain striped panels. It has an A21 code on the fender. I wish they were still on the car, I'll be looking for some replacements
