Hey there, I’ve got a 73 dodge dart I’ve been working on for awhile. I don’t own an E body, However, it’s time to move up in the mopar world. My father owned an orange 1971 Plymouth Barracuda with a 318 and drove it through highschool in Colorado and New Mexico. I have been searching for this car for sometime now but I think it’s time to ask around. I am sorry if this is not the correct thread location.

The car was sold and passed around a handful of times.

The last we have heard on the car is that it was sold to a mopar collector in Missouri in the early 2000’s I believe.

This is a long shot but I thought it was worth inquiring on here.

Here is a pic the VIN. I can get a cleaner pic when I get back into town.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Welcome to FEBO from the desert! 73 Darts are cool, post a picture or two of it! Best of luck on your search for your Pop's Barracuda. Hopefully someone here recognizes it!

Welcome to the site from Michigan! Good luck in the search for your Father's Barracuda. Posting up the VIN number will potentially get better results rather than just a picture of it.

Best of luck with Dad’s ‘Cuda. The a couple other mopar sites you may post on as well.
I have a buddy that found his Super Bee he sold 20 years ago. 👀

Start a new thread and post a confirmed VIN for the Barracuda you are attempting to find.
It looks like BH23G1B238601 or BH23G1B238671.
Please confirm so we can assist.

Have you tried the Facebook group Lost Muscle Cars? He seems to have pretty good success in tracking down cars.

unfortunately, it has probably been cloned into a Hemi Cuda clone with a Shaker hood, billboards, gull wing and rear window louvers like so many of the others have been cloned over the years.
