Any opinions on these heads?

Honestly, if checked out by a competent cylinder head machine shop, they'd probably work fine!

If it were me, I'd buy Trick Flow 240 heads for a performance engine. Or 440 Source Stealth heads for a mild build engine to get the factory look.

I was thinking 440 asource also..I like the fact that the coolant jacket in the exhaust stud is blocked off.

Just keep in mind, the Stealth heads are pretty much just an aluminum version of the 915/906 iron heads. Big weight savings!

We don't even know the OP's intended use - let's start with that. Or is every answer going to be TF240 or TF270 from here on out?

No experience with their big block heads, but the quality of casting and machine work on the small block ProMaxx heads is very good. I have a set of their standard non-CNC aluminum heads and the finish in the bowls under the valve was done by hand and left nothing to be desired. Very smooth result. I believe that all their castings come in from over seas, but the machine work is done here in the US. I've not heard a single complaint against the PM heads, unlike the Speedmaster and recent Edelbrock stuff.
