Did you call them and do you have a frame? Everyone on here that has priced them from both places (having their frame recovered, not buying a new one) has said that ABC was much cheaper than Year One and the customer service was much better.
If you have an original dash pad frame you can send it to them and they will redo it for a much better price than Year One. The frames are all the same, A/C, non A/C, one speaker or three speaker.
I would stay away from the plastic core dash pads if you can, they have been known to warp over time. Also, I would go with these guys rather than Year One for a dash pad;

Got the grille in yesterday. There are two little slider parts on each side of the grille that the screws for the tabs on the headlight buckets go into, and new ones came with the grille. They were really snug in the slots they go into in the ends of the grille and I had to clean all the paint...
Probably because with the rear valance panel on there is no room for the longer adjustable shackles. The factory length shackles barely clear the valance. I have seen where someone has cut sections out of the valance for adjustable shackles and it always looks like a hack job.
I have no doubt the trim pieces are secure, even though I said "hand pressure" to install them, that was pushing pretty hard one tab at a time. The fit is really snug. That being said, I will gladly take on your challenge and test them out at well over 70 mph!:lol:
That's an A body kit you posted. If you're doing an A body I suggest you go over to the forabodiesonly forum and check with those guys. there may be some differences between the E bodies and the A bodies. I know for sure there are some guys who have done the swap in the New Hemi Engine Swap...
I got the grille painted and learned something along the way. Probably learned it when I painted the original grille that's in the car and then forgot it. 😁 I painted the black center sections and intended to then mask them off and paint the main part of the grille. Well,it's pretty much...
Well, the Cuda got me onto the set! The set manager saw my car and came over to check it out, then offered to give my wife and I a walk through. We got pictures of the car and other areas of the set but unfortunately he asked us not to post anything on the internet and I have to honor that. I...
Kevin called me a little while ago and said to bring the car out there. He's the owner of the station and he thinks he can get me in there. We will see!
Funny you should say that! When I was married to my first wife I had my first Cuda, a 1970 340 4sp. and we also had a 1967 Impala SS 327 AT. She hated driving the Cuda so when we split up she kept the Impala SS and I kept the Cuda.
Unfortunately that won't happen. They are filming today and tomorrow starting at 6:00 PM and into the night both days. The State Police and Sheriffs Dept. will be blocking the roads during the filming. BTW, here's a picture of my car sitting behind that gas station before I restored it. The...
