    Quarter panel patch needed

If some one had a quarter with rust problems down low (a common problem) they might have replaced the whole quarter and have a good piece you need. Post a "WTB" add and also ask folks on this site who have documented the restoration of their 'cuda here. I'm betting some one has that piece and...

    Oil pump drive

Definitely have to twist the intermediate gear into place with a big screwdriver! Did you install a new bushing for the intermediate gear? With the factory tool that reams it during bushing install? It's a snug fit when reamed and impossible (without breaking something) to install if not reamed.

Hemi Throttle cable Bracket 70 Factory replacement block

I figured you'd have some fabrication to do. But it's all worth it when the running great and you can enjoy it!

    1972 Plymouth 'cuda 340 6 pk 4 speed 391 gears

Welcome to FEBO from the desert. I was 17 driving my dad's old 73 Satellite when my older brother was going to give me his 68 GTX 440/727 numbers matching with real magnesium wheels. He had wrecked the drivers fender into the driver's door so it would have needed those two body parts. I past...

seat racks for a e body

The cable is to release both adjuster tracks. I thought all buckets had them, but I'm mostly familiar with 70 and 71. Maybe 72 - 74 only has one adjuster track and the other just slides? I usually just use grease from my grease gun that I use to grease ball joints and tie rod ends. Just a...

    Another New guy from Az

Welcome to FEBO from the desert in Southeastern Arizona! Show us some pictures of your Challenger. I had a good friend in college that had a 69 Firebird. They're a nice car too.

    Quarter panel patch needed

How is yours damaged? I ask because my 71 Barracuda was squished flat even with the tail light panel when I got it and I fabricated a piece of angle iron, drilled a hole in the ridge and installed a 1/4" bolt. drilled one 1/4" hole in the quarter panel and using the angle iron on the inside and...

Edelbrock 1406 Carb Install 73 Challenger with 318

You'll need the correct kickdown linkage assembly (or Lokar cable and bracket if going that way) assuming it's an automatic. You'll need a carburator linkage stud for the throttle cable and kickdown linkage. Plus you'll need a 12 volt wire (ignition controlled) for the choke. A four barrel will...

    Radiator, re-core stock or aluminum?

@6PKRTSE you realize with your blue Challenger you're kinda in a class/world all by yourself, right? 🙂

    Oil priming question

When I assemble engines, I still use STP on the bearings. I know some people don't like it too much, but Richard Petty was sponsored by it for how many years? And I've built close to a hundred engines over the years and never had one come apart except pushing a push rod through the rocker on a...

    Oil priming question

I usually prime the engine within minutes of start up. Run the pump, turn the motor to verify oil to both rocker arms and stop at #1 TDC, pull out the priming tool, drop in the intermediate shaft and distributor, fill up the carb fuel bowls and hit the ignition. Then run at 2500-3000 rpm for...

1970 console 3d printed seat belt hole cap

My solution was putting a 71 center console cover on top of the 70 base. 🙂 The open hole just collected dust and junk otherwise.

    FOR SALE A true factory-reference, investment-grade 1970 Plymouth Barracuda – numbers-matching, California survivor

Actually it was kind of fun reading everyone's posts! Lots of knowledge here and very difficult to pull any shenanigans on this site. But true, if someone wants the car and makes a decent offer, it should be seriously considered and not ignored completely. It would make a nice Cuda tribute and...

    Pre-oiling before first start trick

No! Steel is not steel. I bought a set of USA made drill bits that cost three times as much as the ChiCom knock offs. The USA set has already paid for itself!
