Anyone running the Passon 18 spline OD gearset? I am trying to make a final

Keeping it simple is a really great way of doing it in my opinion. I saw recently on an older episode of Graveyard Yard Carz (not the newest season but the one before that) and Mark Worman was discussing the aftermarket 6 speed and he was showing how they have to cut the trans tunnel and make it...

    Column shift JH23H non-Rallye 340 Challengers?

I have seen HEMI cars with column shifts. In this case I believe it all depends on what the person ordered when buying the car.

Anyone running the Passon 18 spline OD gearset? I am trying to make a final

I have the 4 speed version. I have had it for over 10 years (although my car hasn't moved in the last 4 years until last week) but before that I put a lot of miles on it and had no trouble at all. Fourth gear is 0.80:1 and I have 3.91 gear ratio which gives me a 3.13 ratio in 4th gear. This...

I agree. Looks like you are doing everything right. The only thing I would do different is I prime the engine right before or as close to start up as possible. I use a telescoping magnet to remove and replace the oil pump drive gear so I don't have to pull the intake manifold off and on again...

    71 'Cuda project underway

That's really cool! I love your attention to detail. IIRC these cars had an extra fuel line that goes to the fuel filter. How hard is it to add that? Do you have to get a different fuel tank or a different sending unit?

Wow! Your car is coming along great! Just wondering was Curious Yellow the original color? Did you have AMD installation center install the Hemi torque boxes?

No oil pressure while priming engine

There is a great article in Mopar Action called "First Fire" which is all about breaking in a flat tappet cam. I thought I did everything right and the cam still failed on me. I primed the engine 5 times, I used Brad Penn break-in oil, I had it set to fire right off, I quickly got the RPMs up to...
