Anybody have a wrecked drivers fender from a 70 Challenger that still has headlight bucket in it? Be alot easier than trying to rebuild the rusted out one we have. I would just buy a new fender but all ready has some extensive mods done to the rest of it.
Been working on a functional ram air setup through the hood scoops.
Lots more to do. S-I-L says he wants to put it in the SEMA show this November....... A LOOONNNGGG way to go.
Well, it's been a while. Life goes on and things happen.
Don't know how many of these are repeats. Been working on car for a few months now. Many mods. :)
Thank you!! The front is 24" tall where the headlight bezel attaches to the top of the fender. The rear is 26" tall at the sharp bodyline at the rear of the fender.
Wooo Hooo!!!
Got the tail wrapped up in the last couple days. Got the bumper fitted with new brackets and holes filled. Had to lengthen the Viper frame rails 3"to reach the back panel of the Challenger trunk. Welded a filler panel in between the t-light panel and the valence. Might add on to the bottom of...
Got some new parts for the Challenger. The rear panels were either rusted away or in such bad shape we decided to replace them. They are cheap Taiwan stuff but we are doing so many modifications that making these fit will be easy. lol The original light panel has been straightened and...
Worked on the dash today. Had to extent it towards the pass compartment about 6". Fabbed up some fill pieces to get that result. Lots of welding and grinding needed yet to clean it up. The Viper frame positions the driver about 6" back in the pass compartment. No back seat. LOL
Well, it took a while but Challenger is back in shop. Traded it to my future son in law for an enclosed trailer. I will never have time to finish it. Still in the family tho!!!! The kid is old school tho and fits right in with this project. So I'm teachin him how to build a hotrod. lol Here we...
Looking for a plain jane barracuda I can modify without worrying about messing up a #'s car. Cheap!! Some rust ok. Doesn't need to run. Doesn't need drivetrain even.
Something under 2500.
Thx, guys!!!:D
