The door pull cup is installed on the door panel with the armrest. Everything is assembled before the door panel is installed, and vise vera.
The door panel comes off with 2 screws through the door cup, and the perimeter screws, Allen window crank and door lever.
I believe the red on this challenger to be the same aftermarket stuff I took off my 71 barracuda.
I was thinking about re using it, but it's sooo.. wrong, I'm better off with nothing.
And the factory called for V5Y, which I will never find.
These are not transport hold down brackets. They are engine movement limiting supports.
They come on late 73 and 74 ebody, because all the other cars have the new for 73 captive motor mounts.
It's sad to see this happening. Buying from new members with no history is a risk. I was once a new member, and started selling some items, so how can you be sure?
I would say content of their posts.
But I only want to sell via F+F to avoid the 1099 from the irs, which is supposed to start...
I have a nice set of originals, that I haven't used for fear of being too high.
Sitting on the spring eyes, hard to read without dragging them out, but I would say 8.75".
Just looking for a place to post a picture.
I see that you have a gran coupe face for your dash. But since you asked for a picture.. ..
Can't send in a pm, so here.
Do you want 68 pulleys for a cast iron water pump 68 style engine?
Or early harmonic balancer 68 motor with an aluminum 70 style water pump?
Bringing it up now, yo avoid problems later, what timing cover and balancer timing mark are you using?
You can use any year of B+E pins. The 1970 pins are different in the size of the hex head. If memory serves, they were 7/16" and got upsized to prevent rounding.
I can update with a picture later.
I have a very clean parking brake assembly available.
I try to keep the price reasonable, half of Ebay for one made to look good with silver paint. But more than the rusty one painted black.
You will want to respray the black pedal arm and lube it
$125 plus shipping from 98275
Don't think...
I have both. Picture of hood release and latch.
Release, no rust in pivot, I did have to straighten the arm through grill.
Latch, been cleaned in solvent, and super clean. A little wire wheel action. No blasting to obscure condition.
I'll pm you.
It is actually a C body part, 72-73.
The clip groove is higher than the e body, but it still is a 70-71 clip style, not a plastic push clip like 72 up E.
Being a taller pin, some kind of large diameter washer needs to be used as a shim, to keep linkage from clanking.
Oh yeah, the...
Yes, that's me. I was going to put that single bar in my car and see if 1 70 style small diameter torsion bar would even hold the trunk up.
If not it's of no use by itself, except in a 70 with its mate.
Don't you hate it when people get involved in your sale?
That crank pulley is offset bolt pattern, but backspace looks short.
Your tag says 69 back so iron water pump.
Interesting i.d. thread.
No mention of 70-71 having an offset or staggered bolt pattern on the crank pulley.
I'd offer pulleys, but I only have extra midyear 71 up even spaced crank pulleys
I have a pair of green shoulder belts with the plastic bolt cover, tags intact. And the belts that bolt on the tunnel, with exceptional condition buckles. (No tags)
I will say, full disclosure, that someone trying to vinyl dye the headliner black and i cleaned some overspray off the bolt...
I was looking at classic industries complete B body rallye dash parts, and don't they offer e body parts??
This is one part i would buy repop of.
I have not checked, just wondering.
