For fiberglass parts, I've have gotten very satisfactory parts from Unlimited:

I know some don't like the 72-74 "sad mouth" grille, but it's kinda cool because it's unique. If you go with the "scoops", I'd go with the 71 grille as the scoops were 71 only.
Just make sure your brakes work well! We don't you or Challenger in "flames"! Brakes are #1, Steering #2 for safety. Chrysler always has (and still has) the best brakes. When it came out, the Dodge Viper was the quickest car from zero to 100 mph to zero!
I hope that the front brakes locked up (skid marks of rubber on both sides) prior to the rear locking up! The front MUST brake before the rear or you're going to go around and around in circles!! Regarding the light, it sounds like the switch has failed and needs replacement. Personally I think...
By the way, what we call "casting numbers" are actually engineering part numbers, but regardless it lets us identify parts. The main thing on a matching set heads is the casting dates are close to each other. Usually no more than a month (or two) apart.
I think it was a serialization of the different molds used to cast the head. In your example, mold "C" and "E(?)" were used. On blocks they used numbers like 2468130-6 for a 59-71 383. The "6" is the mold serial number. Realize they were casting hundreds of these every day for years. I think I...
That's a sweet ride! It's interesting how some folks are nice and helpful when registering vehicles and others are not. Here in Arizona, we have MVDs in small towns that charge a small convenience fee, but much better than going to DMV and standing in line for hours only to get a rude person...
Rock Auto has ACC carpet for less than $250 with shipping. It might be cheaper to buy the automatic carpet and sell your manual carpet then to pay a carpet guy to alter your manual carpet.
Contaminated surfaces causes bubbles like that. Keep in mind that the trunk was mostly over spray from the factory. Would require sanding and repainting to fix.
Mistakes were made for certain. I know on the body they only stamped the last eight digits of the VIN. Is this a high dollar car?
I see you joined today, welcome! You should introduce yourself and tell us about your vehicle in the Welcome Wagon forum!
It's a beautiful Challenger and certainly a good price! If my son hadn't just bought a 2015 Scat Pack, I'd be all over this one. I don't think you'll have any problem selling this one.The wheels allone were a $1000 option and would cost $2200 to add to a Challenger (or Charger) now!
