agreed, unfortunately my74 was not a highly optioned car when ordered. i’ll keep watch for a rally dash , switch panel and wiring harness in the future , hopefully it will have a useable black dash pad on it ! . as for now the non rally dash will get me down the road with or without a built in...

if i could locate one that functions AND comes with appropriate wiring harness i might consider it .from what i’ve read the wiring harness is different….

hey, that’s a good idea moving the tack inward towards the speedometer. It wouldn’t take much to move the fuel gauge to the end basically just moving it and extending the wires and then the tach can go right next to the speedo. Cool idea thanks. It looks like an easy move. we checking on...

i didn’t order this car , and i’ve never run or driven it . i bought as a non running vehicle, partially disassembled. so i’m trying to make sense of what’s there now , probably should of installed a batt and figured a few things out before i tore into the servicing….but hind sight is …..

interesting info , i do have the floodlight but none of the other A01 package . looking at my dash lighting panel it doesn’t appear that a screw was ever inserted there ! odd …. i would imagine the switch panel illumination would be standard equipment,

i’m looking for the light on the dash illumination that rests on the left hole above the wiper / headlight switches .

that’s what i’m looking for ! i don’t have that light socket protruding out the left side of the panel . i do have one as steve said one the bottom of wiper switch panel . makes sense now . i need to locate the upper one ….

so i found the switch area illuminating bulb and socket , not on the upper panel but below the switches! so the forth hole towards remains empty i guess ….

do you remember , did you hard wire the tach or is there factory wires there( i’m probably dreaming !) ?

i am servicing my dash . 1974 barracuda. it is green in color and we are considering keeping it green . originally i wanted to go with black but … the metal part of the dash needs a coat of paint , does anybody make a rattle can in the green dash color? it also appears to heave a texture to it ...
