the only way to fix the bubbles is to strip the paint to bare metal and find the cause could be contaminates in the paint could be rust

i would wire the solenoid to stay on whenever the ac is on if you put a thermal switch to cycle the compresser on and off the compresser wire isn;t the best choice but will work you will have the problems i stated above

i taped into the ac compresser power wire the only problem i have with that is when the ac cycles off at idle then kicks back on at idle the solenoid does not have the power to up the idle i have to tap the gas

i used tar paper held on with a few pieces of duct tape easy to work with .also they sell door hinge bushings and pins don;t unbolt the hinges just knock out the pins save a lot of time trying to adjust the doors

wd 40 is good for getting glue off too like the glue left from duct tape

I would scrub with a brush and spray 9 then rinse with water.. wipe with paint thinner just before dusting on adhesion promoter
