Thank you sir. I appreciate you explaining it to me and not treating me like I’m I’m stupid. I know exactly what you are talking about now. I just needed an expert to explain it to me.
Can you go into further detail on the toners if you have the time. I know nothing about paint and I’m not going to pretend like I do. There’s just none of the old timers left who can mix. It all has to be done by camera. I have a Napa that might be able to do it or if I could find a pint that is...
I’m looking for moulin rouge formula. I don’t really have anything to go off of. I bought a duster drag car. It is painted pink. But it’s not the right color. It’s kind of a father daughter project.
I ran straight 50w cenpeco and schaffers in my dodge ram pulling truck with a 5.9 Cummins. All bearing tolerances were set to max tolerance. It carried 70lbs at startup and 40lbs at idle, when warm. That was brand new oil. I would start loosing pressure after a couple runs cause the diesel fuel...
sorry if I missed it earlier but what brand of oil are you using? I switched a couple years back to Brad penn racing oil in just about everything but my newer truck which takes synthetic.
Thanks gentlemen I’ll give them a shot. I did reach out to a couple places trying to find a complete set but haven’t had much luck. The one year only thing of 74 is what’s hurting me.
Can anyone recommend someone to restore the seat belts out of my 74 cuda. I thought I could find a decent set but no such luck. Figured I’d send my originals off to be rebuilt etc.
Do what challenger rta mentioned above. You just have to pull the valve covers and the distributor. Get a good heavy duty drill and see what kind of pressure you can build.
I went with these on the front.
KYB Gas-a-Just Shock - B Body Front
And these on the rear.
KYB Gas-a-Just Shock - Rear S/S Springs
These will allow me to move the car around while I find a place to rebuild the nos ones. Talk about a disappointment when I pulled them out of the box.
