It is sad to hear of Terry's passing. Our ages are catching up with alot of us, and we always hope to have more time, time to finish or enjoy our passions.

I believe all (the E body) seat tracks interchange, but 72 up lost the lock feature on the inner track.
Another cost cutting move. That extra pull wire and seat rail complexity saved a dollar.

Actually, I think 70 and 71 brown colors are different.
I'll probably have to buy a repop to replace this, but just can't bring myself to ruin a colored part by painting black.

Late 72,73-4
B mirrors E thru 72. Late 72B has a change on the back by removing springs and using a foam insert to fill the full void.
I believe 73-4E are the same as 73-4 and up A body.
So what do we call this?
It was bolted to the car, to store it and transport, but never prepped or painted.
Body parts that are NOS have shelf wear, and this has kep bolt marks from being attached. And yes, I was going to post it for sale as NOS.

Are you doing the welding together of all the parts, after you build a jig?
Does it have a fender tag, and vin tags? Even if it is a lower value slant car, it would be nice to have tags.
Especially if it was a decent color.
If you are paying, forget it.

The caliper mount is a backing plate with inside rotor park brake.
Standard bolt pattern, and regular park cables. Bolt on to 8 1/4" and 9 1/4"
Some mods for 8 3/4.

Indeed they are. At 200k, I did a slight refresh for oil leaks, motor mounts, water pump and the like. Nothing major, on a 5.2 magnum grand cherokee
But I did change the timing chain which was completely bagged out.
Mileage jumped back to 15.5 after years of decline to 13.3. Idle is smooth and...
Remove lock star wheel and get to here on column. (shaft in is fine).
Depress the lock cylinder dedent (small rod or drill bit) and pull out. Blind hole to push in is marked.
70 (right) and 71 up lock cylinders shown
Auto columns are defacto lockout.
The emergency flasher knob is 70 only.
The igniton lock has a different release dedent holding it the outer collar. A small post instead of a half moon.
70 ignition is chrome, 71 up may be satin.
