Need help with Fender Tag decode Here is the fender tag off of a car I am looking at buying.. I can decode some of it but am lost on most of it.. Can anyone give me the breakdown on this car? It is a 70 purple Challenger R/T 383 car.. or suppose to be.. You may need to blow it up...

I use the super comps on my big block.. No fitment issues at all and can change the mini starter without removing them.. Plugs have to be changed from the bottom though..lol

I guess I am going to be the bad guy here and say i would use the Big Block. I have an aluminum headed 512 in my street car and would not have it any other way. Do not get me wrong those small blocks are bad but when you are not racing and useing the car to cruise around in mostley it sure does...

It is hard to get 30mpg out of the air Cooled VW... Unless yo udrive real easy and slow.. I have owned over 60 vw's over the years from tube chassis race cars to turbo street cars.. Great cars.. easy to work on and affordable to maintain... Great score... I paneled one of them back in the 90's...
