The biggest problem when the heater core is good is trying to remove the hoses. Trying to twist them off will sure cause a problem. I recently removed hoses on an old honda van but used a thin pick between the hose and the receiving mount metal and all came off easily. I did ruin my heater core...
I remember some kind of problem with the outside handle getting disconnected from the rod that operates the opening mechanism. If the door is locked and you force the outside handle something on the handle breaks disconnecting the rod. Hopefully you can open from the inside and see the problem...
I have a 71 Cuda with an AMD shaker hood. The original hood springs offered too much resistance, and it seemed like the hood was going to bend at the hinge. I then bought the fiberglass hood springs but they wouldn't open the hood far enough. I now have Camaro 210 springs which seem to be the...

Well I have the harwood 210's on and it does the job. Closes without straining the hood and opens all the way. Thanks for the info and I'll never tell their Chevy parts. Dilemma solved.

I have 10 binders full of Mopar magazines from the mid 80's when they started publishing them. The only solution maybe to take them to a car show, if you have dedicated Mopar meets, and try to get rid of them that way. I'd be willing to give them away so as not to have to put them in the recycle...
A meziere #WN0028U is a thermostat housing that gives you a 3/8 ported opening. Summit has it. I used it on a Gen 2 Hemi because no water in the manifold and needed Temp. sensor for F.I. installation.
