They only made 63 1971 Challengers with the sunroof so it wouldn't be as rare as them. Was the formal roof option work carried out outside the factory if it was this may explain this document.
...the car. After further research, I found that only 229 formal roof challengers were made which leads me to believe it might be as rare as a sunroof car? Thoughts? I knew the car had a small rear window which was more rare but I had no idea how much rarer it was. To think I have 2 broadcast...
I also would be interested in seeing this document - especially if it is sunroof related. If you don't have any luck loading the picture, send one of us a PM and you could email, text it, or instafacetubechat it one way or the other, and we can get it posted. ;-)
...reports have ponied up some pretty good dough to get them. I am bound by my agreement with my contact on my copy of the report. It was the only way I could get verification on some sunroof numbers. Like I said - if you are curious about some specific options - I would gladly do that. Scott.

As others have stated, you'd have to do a lot of the work yourself in order to not be under water. If the current owner...
Well, first I want to thank you guys for the info you supplied on the sunroof cars. As a guy that's only been here a couple days I didn't realize there were a thousand threads just like this here and that they're irritating to some. I thought this car was unusual enough to have a conversation...

My 1970 sunroof Challenger does not have the code on the fender tag but it is on the build sheet I don't know of any sunroof cars with the code on the tag. Have a good look for another build sheet it will be hard to say it is original without it.
