    1973 dodge challenger

Welcome to FEBO from the desert! Show us what you're working with! Lots of stuff for E-Bodies. They just cost more then Ford and GM! Good thing is original used parts last a lot longer on Mopars!!

    Mopar restoration parts

Welcome to the site. Mopars are rare, but more fun to drive than Shivvies and Phords!! Lots of original parts out there, but they aren't cheap. Post WTB items in that forum. Guys here are pretty good and help each other (when we're not teasing each other)! Certainly wouldn't restore a rolling...

New Member, Longstanding Mopar Lover - Project Challenger

Welcome to FEBO from the desert! Nice looking Charger! Challenger looks pretty solid! Yes, 70 was an oddball year for both Challengers and Barracudas. So be careful!

    Newbie floor question

No body parts are as good as the originals and New Old Stock. AMD typically needs some work, but most of the guys doing body work agree, AMD is the best you're going to get. And all E-Bodies had 7/16-20 seat belt fasteners.

    Big Block Cooling Help/Opinions

I'd go with anything thermostat above 180°F. I have no issues with a 195°F. Some people like to run 160°F and I'm my opinion, that's to low.

    Big Block Cooling Help/Opinions

A good flushing won't hurt anything, a new thermostat and getting a temporary temperature gauge plumped into the water pump housing will tell the tale if it's getting too hot. Right now, it definitely sounds like it is. You're on the right track!

    Big Block Cooling Help/Opinions

And don't forget to put a 180°F thermostat back in it!

    1970 Challenger A66

It all comes down to, does the car "do it for you" (meaning you love it and would love driving it) and is the price reasonable to your budget! Guaranteed as times go by, these cars get more valuable regardless if it's 100% perfect.

I AM NOW AN E BODY FAN

Welcome to FEBO from the desert! Your car, you can do what you want with it! By the way, a 440 with aluminum heads, intake manifold, water pump housing and water pump is only a bit more than an all iron small block! 😁

    Clutch fan storage

X3 face down. But really at won't mater too much. The fluid will still work no matter how it's stored. I just think face down keeps its lubed better.

    Exhaust hanger bracket

I believe all the grills are made by one company and sold by various dealers.

Best rallye bezel and switch plates.

Can add a fourth switch if necessary for any switch you might like. I've always liked the idea of a electrical cut off switch. The morons nowadays wouldn't know how to start a car with abnormal switches. Had a good friend with a 64 Fury convertible. He left the keys in his car because the...

    New 512 build planning

Definitely recommend a heat shield or header wrap around the starter. Headers expelling of heat is part of their reason for adding a little extra horsepower. And it's natural for an engine to expell extra heat idling after a run! 🙂

    Spark Plug Opinions

I've run Champion RJ12YC in my 70 Challenger 383 for years with no problems. Usually re-gap them every 10,000 miles and replace them every 30,000 miles.

    Cooling help please

As others have wisely stated, get rid of the flex fan and order the fan below (or equivalent) with clutch: https://www.manciniracing.com/mararefan2.html https://www.manciniracing.com/thfancl.html Also pick up or make a fan shroud. I'm not big on electric fans for street cars. Guess they have...
