    Fix crack in headlamp frame

Thanks for all the info guys. As it would be the case the crack is right where the part number is on the backside - splits it in two. I’m going to try to make a repair such that it does not cover the part number but fixing it is more important.

    Rear seat belt id

Do these look like the correct rear seat belts for a 1972 Challenger? Found in a box with the car. The short belts are about 13 inches long. Please see the pix attached. Thanks. Mike.

Engine bay wire harness hanger diagram

Does anyone have a diagram or pictures of the engine bay wire harness hanger locations? Basically what type of hanger goes where to secure the wire harnesses to the firewall & fenders. I’ve got a new hanger kit but it came with no diagram. TIA, Mike.

Interior side window trim clip - where to find

Does anyone know where to find these interior side window trim clips? See pic. I’ve got one that’s broken. They hold the hockey stick-shaped interior trim piece on top of side window covering the headliner. ‘72 Challenger if that makes a difference. Thanks, Mike.

    Bulkhead connection assembly help

Is this the correct assembly of the bulkhead connector? I took this picture before I dismantled the engine bay but I’m not sure if it was correct in the first place. The black seal looks odd to be exposed as pictured. Thanks, Mike.

Remove #2 spark plug issue on 440?

Hey, thanks to everyone who posted ideas and stories. I was able to buy an offset double ring spanner like Steve340 identified and Xcudame suggested. It worked like a charm! In fact, I used it for #2 as well as #4 & #6 just like DetMatt1 posted. I doubt I’ll need the tool often but it’s the...

Remove #2 spark plug issue on 440?

This looks like a great option. I'll track one down and try it out.

Remove #2 spark plug issue on 440?

Sorry, maybe I didn’t explain my issue right. It’s not that I can’t get the socket handle on the socket once the spark plug socket is on the plug, I cannot get the spark plug socket on the #2 plug at all. The shock tower gets in the way no matter how I try to wiggle it around. That’s why I’m...

Remove #2 spark plug issue on 440?

Has anyone had this issue? If so, what was your solution? On my 440, I don’t have enough clearance between the shock tower and the #2 spark plug to get a standard spark plug socket on the plug to remove it. Even if I could slide one on the plug I couldn’t back it out even a fraction before the...

BY passing charging gauge 70 challenger

I’ve been reading through this entire post for better understanding of this issue and your resolution. In this pic it looks like you have a 12ga fusible link on both the relay starter connection (grey) and the battery post going to the ammeter (lt blue). Why did you add the one on the starter...

Fixing my 1972 Challenger heater box and all vacuum actuators work except the one marked 3441324. It’s got a leak on the inside diaphram. Anyone have a spare for sale? Thanks, Mike.
