Diameter of the red spring is 1 3/8" and black is 2 1/16, both are same overall length. The length of the coils on the red is 7" vs 5 1/8 coil length of the black spring.

OH! A Canadian! That explains it, they also have a reason to complain. I looked at buying there and the shipping was ridicules. Amongst other things.
Got mine from Rock Auto 7+ years ago? Rear wheel cylinder not leaking yet. Easy enough to change if need be. How cheap can they make something that won't work.

The shaker cable hole measures out to be .928, between 7/8" & 15/16" and is located in the dimple where the two A/C lines would come thru the firewall. Standing at the front of the car, use the one on the left.

Good info above. The drum spindle if I recall needs a sleeve over it. Yours being a 70 drum the rotor bearing is different the 72 and up. Unless you change you spindle too. Then using all the components from 72 and up. Figure out the way you want to go before buying anything.
I only seen one. It was green like above. In public “per se”. I talked to the owner on the street. Funny how that was a thing before! I knew where the girl lived. I was going to stop by and see if she would sell it. That was back in the late 70's.

I would say yes under the right conditions. Are all the fuel lines stock size and routing? Remove and plug the separator lines. Then see if you have the problem.
I'm thinking it might not be your problem there probably would be gas leaking somewhere from the...
