    body moldings

They are a factory molding and hard to find since most people have removed them over the years and discarded them.

To stripe or not to stripe?

I would leave it as is. Seems like everyone has the hockey stripe these days. Even on 72, 73 and 74's.

How much can you narrow rear axle with a mini tub kit?

My truck Dana does have extra thick axle tubes. They are thicker than car Dana's. I think they were like 3/8" wall or slightly over. I agree with depth on wheels. I went with 15"x12" with a 6" back space.

How much can you narrow rear axle with a mini tub kit?

Yes, correct. I bought the wheels and tires first that I knew would fit in the mini tub that I did first on my blue 70 Challenger. Then we measured and cut with dimensions that I was able to figure out from the Strange Engineering axle flanges and rotor thicknesses. I don't recall how much I cut...

To stripe or not to stripe?

Agreed, everything has a go wing or gull wing these days. Looks like some sort of Auto Zone Ricer bolt on.

To stripe or not to stripe?

I have always liked the 71 R/T and non-R/T stripes also as I have a similar on my 12' Challenger R/T Classic.

To stripe or not to stripe?

The rump stripe was always my least favorite, but since my red Challenger has one. It has grown on me over time. I know minor, but what bugs me about it is how the rear side marker lights and rear bumper are diagonal and the stripe goes vertically right between them.

    1970 Cuda

Yes, I have a buddy that has an original R code F8 green Hemi Cuda. He is the second owner since like 1979 and it is a column automatic, bench seat car.

To stripe or not to stripe?

What is everyone's favorite stripe? The rump stripe, the Longitudinal stripe, the T/A stripe, the 71' R/T stripe, or no stripes at all?

    A66 Challenger Registry

I like them both. Or, should I say all. Challengers that is.

Did they make any 70 Challengers with a 383 HP non R/T car

One of my 70 Challengers is a 383 car, but mine is an R/T and an S.E. though. They were available as a non-R/T 383 also but with a 2 bbl. My buddy had a light green 383 2 bbl car that we of course put a four barrel on it immediately back in those days.

    1970 dodge Challenger

Welcome. The best year Challenger to have in my opinion, but a 71 is a very close second.

DIY front and rear torque boxes

I have made and welded in all of my own torque boxes before. Unfortunately, no photos currently on this newer phone.

    Moper Rescue

Welcome and cool project. I personally usually like the 70's and 80's customs, but this was not one of the better jobs. It looks much better with what you have done with it now. Keep us posted on progress.

It's crazy how much larger the newer Challengers are when compared to the older Challengers when side by side like this. Here are a couple of my Challengers also.

    More Room Better Ride?

I agree, but I was able to get it all for free. So, it didn't cost me anything, but a weekend of my time. Again, I do prefer it for the reasons I listed for simplicity mainly.

    More Room Better Ride?

I am running a RMS AlterKation kit on my blue 70 Challenger. It's about 10 years old now with 1000's of street miles and plenty of passes with no issues. Mine has no motor mounts as I made my own front and mid plates. I like it because I was able to Weld up my 3 piece Hooker Super Comp headers...

    Interior Paint

My blue 70 Challenger was a original blue interior car with a blue painted frame. Previous owners had painted, dyed and replaced everything with black interior so I just kept it black at this point. Obviously, there is nothing stock about the car now.
