    1970 CUDA tach restoration

I wouldn't deal with any business that didn't have a working phone number and live person on the other end.

70 ebody am fm radio question

You might try checking with your local high school too. Ours has several 3D printers and the kids are really good at the stuff they do.

Any one using TTI shorty headers? I have a few questions.

I guess TTI's quality has gone down over the years when it comes to their coatings! The TTIs on my Cuda were bought back in 2008 and they still look new, no rust whatsoever.

    Leaf Spring Rebuild

You should be able to get the center bolts at a parts store. We always had them in stock at the Car Quest I used to work at. If they don't have them in stock they can order them for you. They will be oversized in length and once the springs are bolted together you cut off the excess threaded...

    AC restoration or vintage air?

The question you should ask yourself is do you prefer to keep things original or do you prefer to have a system that works better than the factory stuff. That should give you your answer.

How much can you narrow rear axle with a mini tub kit?

The truck Dana 60 I have doesn't have the mounting points for a pinion snubber. I don't think any of the truck Dana 60s do.

    What Upper & Lower Hoses?

This is what I did to find hoses for my swap. I used to work for the local Car Quest owner and he had no problem with me going through his hoses to find what would work for me. I took some coat hanger wire and bent them in the shape I needed for the two hoses and armed with that and the...

    Seat belt options.

I used the aftermarket ones similar to what pschlosser posted in my Cuda. I welded a tab inside the rear side panels and mounted the retractor there out of sight with the shoulder belt coming up through the hole in the rear panel where the little ash try was. I definitely suggest you get the...

    new reproduction 71 Challenger grille

I'm thinking seriously about getting a repro grill for my 70 Cuda and I wonder if they repros are thinner than the originals?

    426 Hemi Air Cleaner

A 67 Barracuda has nothing in common with the e bodies when it comes to hood clearances.

Problem getting wheel alignment on 1970 cuda

THIS^^^^^^ right here! I did alignments at a dealership back in the 70's. A lot of the guys doing alignments now are like parts counter guys, if they can't punch an exact year, make and model into a computer they are lost! Something no one else has brought up is that these cars have an issue...

Exactly why I have two cupholders in my Cuda!

    seat tracks

I'm the same height as Xcudame and the seat in my 70 Cuda (and the one before this one) goes back far enough for me. I would pull the seat out and see what's going on with the track for that seat.

    Power steering box difference

The boxes are interchangeable as long as you have the correct pitman arm to go with it.

What size should the overflow tank be.

If you're talking about the radiator overflow tank, I have a 1 quart with my 5.7 hemi. I live in the desert southwest and the 1 quart tank has always worked for me.

Need help to decipher EB5 paint code.

Yup, I have a friend that is a paint and body guy and the shop he works at used to use Sherwin Williams. I don't know if they still do, but whenever I see him I give him a hard time about painting cars with house paint!

    What carb size mopar 340.

I've been messing with carbs since 1970. I worked as a professional mechanic (back before they were called service techs) and I have always done my own carb tuning. I will agree that the Holley carbs have a lot more tuning capability but I wouldn't run one on a street engine if you gave it to...
